Senior Process Engineer – Fulfillment Center Operations

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer of Fulfillment Center Operations with experience scaling high‑performing teams to join us in delivering our promise to merchants:

What You’ll Do / Responsibilities
  • Define, develop, and implement optimized operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety within our warehouse facility.
  • Design and execute innovative engineering solutions for complex material handling challenges within delivery station networks, focusing on the interaction between human operators and equipment.
  • Apply advanced concepts such as capacity modeling, process analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to develop data‑driven solutions that address operational bottlenecks and improve performance.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of warehouse processes—including workflow design, material flow, equipment utilization, and inventory management—and recommend improvements to streamline operations.
  • Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) aimed at increasing safety, accuracy, and efficiency within warehouse environments.
  • Develop and present process flow diagrams, value stream maps, and other visual tools to communicate changes and monitor performance metrics.
  • Design and implement automated material handling equipment and robotic systems to support high‑volume operations and reduce manual intervention.
  • Identify and recommend new machinery, tooling, and automation technologies aligned with safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and optimized for maximum efficiency.
  • Conduct regular process audits to identify compliance gaps, mitigate risk, and ensure adherence to internal policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends, engineering advancements, and emerging technologies in warehouse operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, engineering management or a closely related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a similar engineering role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
