As a Professional Engineer for Roadway, you will be responsible for a variety of projects, taking ownership from start to finish.

Core Responsibilities- Design and analysis of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails.
- Prepare studies, reports, memos, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects.
- Work under the direction of a Project Manager to lead the roadway design discipline and coordinate and integrate the other associated design disciplines on projects.
- Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder coordination, and sub consultant management.
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish, with attention to quality, budget and schedule.
- Interface with coworkers to achieve shared success.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering license in state of employment or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
- 5-10 years of experience in roadway transportation engineering.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary project teams.
- Solid background in AASHTO roadway geometric design criteria.
- Proficiency using Bentley and/or Autodesk civil design software.
- Knowledge of DOT standards and plan preparation procedures.
- Drainage design and/or traffic engineering experience is a plus.
- Solid written and oral communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project assignment.
