About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Data Center Electrical Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, operate, maintain, and continuously improve electrical systems that support mission‑critical data center environments. Responsibilities include power distribution systems, UPS, generators, switch gear, and related infrastructure to ensure optimal uptime and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Design and review electrical systems to support data center operations, including power distribution, redundancy, and fault tolerance.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to power‑related issues and outages.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA), and company policies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective/preventive measures.
  • Support capacity planning and risk assessments for electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems and schematics.
Essential

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (PE license preferred).
  • 3–7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within mission‑critical environments.
  • Proficiency with electrical modeling software and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, grounding, coordination studies, and electrical safety.
  • Experience with UPS, switch gear, backup generators, PDUs, and BMS systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
