Responsibilities- Responsible for providing real-time and responsive in-person, telephone, and online support for students, staff, faculty, parents, families, and other relevant parties regarding student records, enrollment, the MyUNLV system, and other Enrollment and Student Services topics.
- Provide support for registration, enrollment functions, and MyUNLV Technical Support with a moderate amount of troubleshooting and investigation.
- Understand front-end transactions and back-end administrative and batch processes that impact these transactions and student data to assist with troubleshooting and solving issues to reduce resolution time and escalation.
The position, along with other Office of the Registrar staff, will field over 50,000 annual inquiries from students, parents, and all University colleges, departments, student services, and academic support units. This includes the analysis, evaluation, and handling of complex correspondence. It also includes monitoring and keeping current with institutional, State, and federal regulations, and office policies and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient release of information.
Improper performance could result in a violation of policies, affect accreditation renewals, produce inaccurate student records, and impact reporting.
Sedentary work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing briefly. All positions involve core academic mission contributions.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and 1 – 3 years of related professional experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.
EquivalenciesUNLV may consider additional relevant experience in place of formal education requirements:
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four additional years of relevant experience, or
- Associate's degree plus two additional years of relevant experience.
- 1 or more years of related professional experience.
- Customer service, technical support, public speaking, standard and electronic presentations, high-paced environment.
