What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Develop and implement activities that promote the overall development of children with disabilities and their families
  • Conduct assessments and create evaluation reports for children under the age of three
  • Promote family involvement and support family decisions through a family-centered approach
  • Maintain and organize Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) and provide targeted case management
  • Participate in home visitations and attend therapy sessions as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, special education, human growth and development, psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children from birth to 3 years old
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children with disabilities
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Valid Nevada driver's license
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education issued by the Nevada Department of Education or a comparable certification
  • Experience in developing and facilitating early intervention programs
