The position promotes employer engagement through career fairs, networking events, on‑campus recruiting, and sponsor ships of student projects and professional programs. The Assistant Director ensures consistent follow‑up, gathers employer feedback, and fosters inclusive hiring practices that support diverse and equitable career pathways for students.

The College of Engineering, established in 1957, enrolls over 3,900 students across multiple disciplines, including electrical, computer, mechanical, civil, and construction engineering, computer science, engineering technology, and cybersecurity.
