Postdoctoral Scholar of Chemistry Education Research, College of Science
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for one Postdoctoral Scholar position (R0150117) in Chemistry Education Research. The successful candidate will have completed a PhD in chemistry education or a related field (ABD will be considered) and will conduct research aligned with the PI’s program while proposing independent projects.
Responsibilities- Write manuscripts, collect and analyze data, and assist with grant proposal writing.
- Mentor incoming graduate and undergraduate students in the group.
- Collaborate with the PI and the research team on project development and execution.
- PhD in Chemistry Education Research or related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in scientific/academic writing.
- Research methodology expertise (quantitative or mixed methods).
- Proficiency with statistical software such as R, Mplus, or SPSS.
- Statistical and educational measurement knowledge.
- Familiarity with motivational frameworks.
- Experience with qualitative methodologies and analyses.
- Leadership and independent work skills.

SalarySalary range: $55,000 – $75,000, commensurate with the labor market and funding availability.
