Instructional Aide

Instructional Aide -  School Year (4-Day School Week) Position Purpose

• To support student academic growth through working with students in small groups to fill identified gaps in learning.

• Once hired, the qualified applicant must obtain and pass a fingerprint background check.
• Must pass the Praxis Para Pro exam, have a substitute license, or have a minimum of 60 college credits.

• Assists and guides students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction, and other skills.
• Works with students individually and in small groups to reinforce and implement assigned programs.
• Assists in classroom preparations and strategies for reinforcing instructional materials and skills according to individual student needs.
• Assists with record-keeping procedures to document student learning and performance.
• Constructs, copies, and distributes, and uses educational materials as needed.
• Assists students with special needs in all aspects of classroom instruction to maximize inclusion, learning, and achievement.
• Follows all applicable safety rules, procedures, and regulations governing the proper manner of assistance for all students, including those with disabilities or other special needs.

• Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm (school days only, August 2026 - May 2027).
