Overview

Required:

Master’s degree in reading instruction OR advanced reading certification (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent)

On-site at one of six U.S. campuses:
Phoenix (Scottsdale), AZ;
Austin, TX;
Fort Worth, TX;
Plano, TX;
Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico. Salary: $100,000 annually ($50/hour), paid weekly. Full health, dental, and vision coverage from day one. Relocation assistance available.

• Conduct focused reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency abilities.
• Create individualized motivational sessions through gamified literacy benchmarks.
• Review student performance data to adjust instruction and identify actionable trends.
• Partner with engineering teams to assess and improve AI literacy platforms using real classroom feedback.
• Build scalable, AI-supported materials that help early elementary students reach grade-level reading proficiency.

• Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to conventional curricula—students engage with core academic content via AI-adaptive applications.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master’s degree in reading instruction.
• Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to K–2 students.
• Capable of evaluating reading levels, forming student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula.
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student engagement patterns within these tools.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. For details, see
