Compliance Graduate Assistant
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for the Compliance Graduate Assistant position within the Department of Athletics. The Graduate Assistant will develop an understanding of NCAA Division I legislation, Mountain West Conference rules, and UNLV athletic department policies and procedures. UNLV sponsors 17 varsity‑level teams.
Role OverviewThe position is designed to provide hands‑on experience working with NCAA bylaws and processes in an environment conducive to immersion in the day‑to‑day workings of a Division I compliance office.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and/or CHEA.
- Eligibility for appointment per the UNLV Graduate Assistant Handbook (credentials must be obtained prior to the start date).
- Experience in collegiate athletics (e.g., former student‑athlete, athletics intern).
- Knowledge of NCAA Compliance bylaws and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications and ability to learn new technology.
- Creative mindset for social media and rules education material creation.
