Role Description

This is a adjunct, hybrid role located in Henderson, NV, for the position of Art Educator. The Art-Studio Instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing curriculum plans that align with educational standards, and teaching various aspects of visual-fine art courses, including painting/drawing techniques. This role involves fostering a creative learning environment, offering guidance to students, and supporting their artistic development and appreciation for the arts.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills and experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
  • Proven expertise in Teaching and Art Education, including the ability to inspire and engage students
  • Proficiency in Painting and other artistic methods related to visual arts
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse groups of students
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Art Education or a related field
  • Prior experience in an educational or teaching role, preferably in higher education
