Part Time Healthy Lifestyles Specialist

Location: Natalie Gulbis Club (9552 West Tropicana Ave Las Vegas, NV 89147)

Shift: Monday-Friday 2PM-7PM

• Lead and teach new skills. Our Specialists develop and deliver programming to youth members aged 6-18.
• Serve youth.
• Think on your feet, learn new things, and can adapt quickly. When things change - and they will - you go with the flow and are productive.
• Commit to continuous improvement and has a desire to constantly seek the best ways to get things done.
• Create positive and supportive relationships with our youth, families, Club staff, executive team, Board members, community groups and related youth development partners.
• Have fun! We work in an atmosphere that is fun, energetic and engaging!

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with youth in a health, wellness, sports, and/or recreation setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to deal effectively with multi-age groups of children, small groups of children in activities and free play, and large groups of children in organized activities.
• Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with the public, families, Youth Development Professionals, and members.
• Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety, well-being, and output of others.
• Strong communication skills.

$19.00 hourly
. Eligible for full-time benefits after the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
