Part Time Healthy Lifestyles Specialist

Location: Natalie Gulbis Club (9552 West Tropicana Ave Las Vegas, NV 89147)
Shift: Monday-Friday 2PM-7PM
Responsibilities- Lead and teach new skills. Our Specialists develop and deliver programming to youth members aged 6-18.
- Serve youth.
- Think on your feet, learn new things, and can adapt quickly. When things change - and they will - you go with the flow and are productive.
- Commit to continuous improvement and has a desire to constantly seek the best ways to get things done.
- Create positive and supportive relationships with our youth, families, Club staff, executive team, Board members, community groups and related youth development partners.
- Have fun! We work in an atmosphere that is fun, energetic and engaging!
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with youth in a health, wellness, sports, and/or recreation setting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to deal effectively with multi-age groups of children, small groups of children in activities and free play, and large groups of children in organized activities.
- Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with the public, families, Youth Development Professionals, and members.
- Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety, well-being, and output of others.
- Strong communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits$19.00 hourly
. Eligible for full-time benefits after the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, 401(k), Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off and Employee Assistance Program. Employment with BGCSNV may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
