Position Purpose

The Aircraft Mechanic Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive instruction in assigned courses, ensuring students grasp both theoretical concepts and practical applications in aircraft maintenance. The instructor also manages essential administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, assessing student performance, and collaborating with faculty to enhance the curriculum.

Key Duties
  • Provide engaging and effective teaching in aircraft maintenance principles while developing curricula that aligns with industry standards.
  • Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and offers individualized support to enhance student success.
  • Oversee administrative responsibilities, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Job Responsibilities
  • Teach classes on a scheduled basis, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment that fosters student engagement and enhances learning in aircraft maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Program Coordinator, Campus Director of Education, and Campus Executive Director to develop and refine curriculum, prepare course materials, and schedule classes, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and laboratory environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained for student use.
  • Establish and maintain accurate academic and attendance records for each student, submitting required documentation as per institutional procedures.
