The city of Las Vegas is accepting applications for RSLV Assistant. This position will assist the RSLV Program Coordinator by providing support and implementation to the RSLV programming. The RSLV Assistant provides support to the RSLV Program Coordinator and the RSLV schools to ensure the RSLV model is delivered with fidelity and the needs of the school and community are being met.

A major component of YDSI is the creation of সরকার ReInvent Schools Las Vegas (RSLV). ReInvent Schools Las Vegas is a partnership between the Clark County School District and the city of Las Vegas in collaboration with local businesses and non‑profit organizations. ReInvent Schools is a full‑service community school model based on successful plans from across the nation. RSLV utilizes schools as hubs where students and their families can receive necessary assistance and support by focusing on aligning academic achievement, expanded learning, integrated student supports, and family and community engagement.

Any individual offered employment will be required to pass a pre‑employment drug test, complete background check, and may be required to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements of the job. Some positions may require preliminary background checks.

Performs routine, mid‑level work with minimal supervision; provides assistance to city of Las Vegas supervisory or management staff, school personnel, and the Ameri Corps program. Provide assistance to the Ameri Corps program members. Maintain records as needed. Attend meetings as necessary, and other duties as assigned. The RSLV Assistant will communicate with school staff, city of Las Vegas staff, and the public with information related to the implementation and success of the RSLV community school model.
EssentialDuties
- Provide support as needed to the RSLV Program Coordinator regarding scheduling of RSLV and Ameri Corps programming; meeting requests with RSLV staff, upcoming events, and coordination of student enrichment and family engagement activities.
- Maintains and assesses a variety of automated and manual logs, records and files; performs a variety of record keeping, filing, and other general clerical work.
- Maintains inventory of RSLV supplies and equipment for the RSLV schools Participate and assist facilitation of trainings relatedessions to RSLV
- Assists with gathering information to identify school needs and review with RSLV staff and school administration.
- Maintains an open line of communication with RSLV staff, school staff, students, families, community organizations, etc.
- Ability to travel between multiple locations daily.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferably an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in education, child development, public administration, recreation management, or a field related to the essential functions.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
- Bilingual skills are desirable.
