Job Description
Wynn Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled, passionate and experienced learning and development professional who would be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating all division training initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Learning & Development and collaborating with the Senior Manager of Learning and Development, this role provides leadership, guidance, and operational support to division training managers in Hotel, Food & Beverage, and Security.
The position ensures alignment with corporate standards, fosters collaboration across divisions, and champions initiatives that elevate employee performance and guest experience.
- Ensures Wynn’s standard of excellence is consistently upheld across all division training initiatives (Hotel, Food & Beverage, and Security).
- Applies adult learning theory and processes to create impactful cross-divisional training programs, leadership development content, job aids, evaluations, and eLearning materials.
- Analyzes trends in overall training effectiveness across divisions and partners with division leaders to design scalable learning interventions using the ADDIE model.
- Oversees Learning Management System (LMS) governance for all divisions, including audience management, course deployment, tracking completions, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date content.
- Develops high-quality, visually engaging eLearning and blended learning experiences using the Articulate 360 product suite.
- Facilitates enterprise-level leadership development programs and ensures alignment with corporate L&D strategies.
- Creates, facilitates, and evaluates cross-divisional train-the-trainer programs to build instructional capability across all departments.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of training programs through data analysis, knowledge assessments, and performance metrics; provides recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinates and tracks attendance for mandatory company-wide training initiatives, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Consults and collaborates with internal and external training partners to share best practices and optimize resources.
- Manages multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines, maintaining timetables and responsibly allocating resources.
- Leads by example, consistently embodying Wynn culture, values, and service standards; facilitates with enthusiasm and credibility for diverse audiences.
- Reports directly to the Director of Learning & Development and serves as a key advisor for division training strategy.
- Performs additional responsibilities as needed or requested.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality or related field and at least 7 years of training/facilitation experience and hotel/casino operations experience (or an equivalent combination of training, education and professional experience).
Minimum of 3 years of people‑leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum for various audiences.
Demonstrated ability to create impactful leadership development and engaging learning solutions, including instructor‑led, classroom and on‑the‑job approaches that achieve measurable results.
Understands the strategic relationship of training in the support of achieving the stated mission of the business.
Well‑versed in Adult Learning Theory and how to engage adult learners using a variety of modalities.
Advanced in training needs assessment, creative instructional design, and measuring outcomes.
Must have exceptional communication and facilitation skills, both verbal and written, with the proven ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
Candidate should possess feedback skills at all levels; ability to push back and challenge status quo in and out of the classroom as well as give strong motivational feedback.
Strong and effective decision maker with ability to influence outcomes.
Proactive self‑starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance conflicting priorities as well as meet deadlines under pressure.
