Position Overview
:
As a faculty member, you will help shape students into critical thinkers, confident communicators, and community leaders while fostering a student‑centered learning environment that values diversity and lifelong learning.

• Integrate cultural elements into the curriculum, celebrating diversity and fostering understanding.

Required Qualifications
:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Nevada teaching certification/license with appropriate area(s) of endorsement.
• Proficiency in English.
• Commitment to the VVA Mission and Vision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Cultural competence and appreciation for diversity.
• Adaptability to a dynamic, collaborative work environment.

Preferred Qualifications
:

• Prior elementary education experience.
• Experience working on a collaborative and dynamic team or desire to do so.
• Proficiency or fluency in a second language.
