AB Staffing is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for the 2025/2026 school year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited college or university
• Valid State of Nevada professional teacher certificate with Special Education Endorsement
• Proficiency in subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting special education
• At least one year of teaching experience with students with disabilities, including behavior disorders and learning delays (preferred)
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, see and read printed and digital materials, hear and understand speech, and communicate clearly
• Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, and lift up to 25-40 pounds as needed

Job Description:

Caseload and classroom type vary by school location. Recruitment Specialists will discuss details upon application to match you with a suitable position. The contract runs through the 2025/2026 school year, 37.5 to 40 hours per week, following the academic calendar.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and programs tailored to student needs
• Adapt curriculum based on IEPs and learning styles
• Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress
• Create a safe, organized, and positive learning environment
• Manage behavior and foster a productive classroom atmosphere
• Provide individualized and group instruction using specialized techniques
• Assess and record student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary
• Ensure compliance with regulations and complete required documentation
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to support student success
• Engage in ongoing professional development

Salary: $2,800-$3,000 per week
