Job Description
Responsibilities- Lecture and Lab instruction for Aviation Courses
- Develop Lesson Plans, and course materials in conjunction with Lead Faculty
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
- Provide advisement to students
- Some program and or curriculum development may be requested
- Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
- FAA issued Certificated Flight (II) Instructor, OR FAA issued Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating and Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate, and Instrument Ground Instructor. OR, Aviation Industry Professionals with extensive experience or Aerodynamics, or Advanced Aircraft Systems, or Crew Resource Management, or Airport Management, or Airline Operations, or Cabin Service.
- Bachelor s Degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Science, Aeronautical Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge in Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
Aviation courses are taught at the CSN Henderson Campus A Building, they are typically in-person and can be scheduled during the day, or evenings.
Salary$925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
