* Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited Institution in Library Sciences (MLS).
* 4 years comparable professional experience (academic libraries), comparable supervisory experience.
* 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
* Record of increasing administrative responsibilities in libraries.
* Record of accomplishment in librarianship and services to the profession.
* Demonstrated commitment to fostering and building a diverse workforce and to supporting staff development in support of the College's and the Library's goals of excellence and diversity.
* Commitment to evidence-based decision making to improve library services.
* Experience in budget management in an academic library.
* Experience developing and implementing a strategic plan.
* Ability to develop long-term collaborative and strategic relationships with other units of the college and library community.
* Understanding issues in academic librarianship and higher education, including a commitment to embracing innovative and inclusive polices, services and technologies.
* Professional and pedagogical commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
* Ability to provide inclusive and collaborative management and leadership throughout all job duties.
* Proficiency in the use of a personal computer and current software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.
