The UNLV School of Nursing invites applications for an assistant or associate professor, tenure‑track or tenured, as part of an Addictions cluster hire with the School of Nursing, School of Public Health, and College of Liberal Arts/Department of Psychology. The position will involve teaching and research related activities on health disparities and addictions within the School of Nursing.

A successful candidate will have research expertise and experience conducting research on health disparities and addictions, with an established track record of scientific publications and research dissemination that includes local, regional, and national presentations at conferences, seminars, symposia, and community outreach events. The faculty member will also engage in interdisciplinary collaborations and partnerships at local, state, national, and global levels and demonstrate a potential for securing external grant awards from agencies such as the NIH, CDC, NSF, and others.

• Doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or CHEA.
• Qualified to hold a Nevada RN license; credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
• Will be subject to a one‑time background check.
