About the PositionThis role offers the opportunity to practice across a broad range of imaging modalities while supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient diagnostic services.
The Diagnostic Radiologist provides image interpretation, image-guided procedures, and consultative support to clinical teams, with the ability to contribute subspecialty expertise based on training and experience.
What You’ll Do- Interpret a wide spectrum of diagnostic imaging studies, including general radiology, emergency, and acute inpatient cases
- Perform and oversee image-guided procedures as appropriate to training and credentials
- Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams to support timely, accurate diagnosis
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
- Support patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Utilize advanced radiology systems and software to efficiently manage workflow and image interpretation
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Completion of an accredited radiology residency program
- At least three years of post-training clinical practice experience as a radiologist
- Active license to practice medicine in the State of Nevada or eligibility to obtain
- Board certified or board eligible in Radiology
- Board certification through the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
- Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty
- Experience interpreting studies across multiple modalities, including X-ray, nuclear medicine, and mammography
- Comfort reading high volumes in a fast-paced acute care and emergency setting
- Experience in both diagnostic and interventional radiology is a plus
- Strong proficiency in general diagnostic radiology with efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to manage high study volumes without sacrificing quality
- Familiarity with adult and pediatric imaging practices
- Strong communication skills when working with physicians, staff, and diverse patient populations
- Comfort using modern radiology equipment, PACS, and related software
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
