Compensation

$5,000 signing bonus. Hourly rate between $60 - $65 per hour plus additional bonus opportunities.

Gentle Dental is seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental practice. The ideal candidate is a personable professional who is passionate about dental health and enjoys building strong relationships with patients.

• Patient Care:
  Conduct thorough hygiene procedures including scaling, root planing, and prophylaxis.
• Assessment:
  Perform comprehensive periodontal charts, medical history assessments, and caries risk assessments.

  Educate patients on hygiene treatments needed based on medical and periodontal assessments.
• X-Rays:
  Take digital radiographs as necessary for patient diagnosis.
• Treatment Planning:
  Assist in developing personalized AAP and ADA based treatment plans per patient need, based on assessments and dentist recommendations.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Patient Interaction:
  Engage patients in a friendly, reassuring manner, while addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and completed procedures.
• Infection Control:
  Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.

• Education:
  
  Degree or certification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
• License:
  Valid state dental hygiene license.
• Other licenses/certifications: CPR, Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Laser Certification (where required).
