Job Description

Accept and produce wages from customers and cash accountability thereof.

• Write wagering tickets:
  Obtain betting information verbally from customers and type it on the keyboard of the computer terminal.
• Answer multi-line telephone calls and obtain betting information, then type it on the keyboard of the computer terminal to generate wagering tickets.
• Use calculators, paper clips, rubber bands and currency wrappers to count, clip and wrap currency, balancing cash with the computer dollar amount of generated wager tickets.

• Apply basic mathematics to total multiple wagers, to collect currency and to balance cash.
• Effectively deal with internal and external customers فائ requiring patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and solve concerns. This involves listening, demonstrating empathy, and providing positive solutions.
• Read, write, speak and understand English to comprehend State Gaming regulations, departmental and hotel rules, and communicate with other employees.
• Understand verbal requests from supervisors and guests.
• Understand written English to read caution or safety notices.
• Remain alert throughout the shift.
• Perform tasks requiring reaching and stooping.
• Maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
• Maintain a neat, clean and well‑groomed appearance.
