DescriptionThe Technical Animator is responsible for liaising between the creative and programming teams to optimize animation assets for export. Our ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge and applied hands‑on skills. Spin Play Games Technical Animators are natural problem solvers and clear communicators who pay attention to details.
Key Responsibilities- Create and animate characters, environments, and FX in different styles.
- Apply knowledge of techniques to meet memory limitations.
- Prepare assets for export in the most cost‑efficient manner, considering size, dimensions, and resolution.
- Minimum 6 years experience using Spine, ideally without use of the mesh tool.
- Minimum 6 years experience in 2D animation, drawing and illustration.
- Experience in mobile platforms required; slot machine games highly preferred.
- Knowledge in 3D animation is a plus.
- Applications without a 2D animation portfolio will not be considered.
