Salary: $26 - $40 per hour

Nationwide HVAC contractor with over 50 years in business is seeking an Estimator with HVAC project estimating experience in the Las Vegas area.

• Reviewing and understanding the scope of construction projects to provide accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather all necessary information for the estimation process.
• Evaluating and analyzing data from past projects to predict future costs.
• Preparing detailed project bids and presenting them to clients and stakeholders.
• Utilizing cost management tools and software to maintain accurate records of estimates and bids.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that our estimates remain competitive.
• Participating in project meetings and providing updates on the cost status of ongoing projects.
• Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and suggesting strategies for cost optimization.
• Assisting in the negotiation of contracts and bids to ensure the best possible outcome for the company.
• Providing support and guidance to junior estimators and other team members as needed.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in project estimation and cost management.
• Proven experience in construction estimating and project bidding.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using cost estimation and project management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certification in cost estimation or project management is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
