The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction, renovation, maintenance, and facilities projects across various locations. This role manages construction staff, vendors, contractors, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. The Construction Manager provides strategic leadership while maintaining hands-on oversight of construction activities and facility improvements.

- Plan, coordinate, and manage new store build-outs, remodels, warehouse projects, and facility upgrades.
- Oversee day-to-day construction and maintenance operations across all locations.
- Supervise and direct construction staff and third-party contractors.
- Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor workmanship, safety compliance, and project milestones.
- Review and approve contractor bids, contracts, invoices, and change orders.
- Collaborate with leadership, store operations, and vendors to align construction projects with operational needs.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs and facility repair initiatives.
- Identify risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of permits, inspections, contracts, and project records.
- Provide weekly and monthly project status updates, including budget tracking and productivity metrics.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate construction and maintenance team members.
- Manage inventory of construction materials, equipment, and tools.
- Leadership - Effectively leads teams, sets clear expectations, and holds team members accountable.

- Financial Acumen - Understands budgeting, cost control, and basic accounting principles related to construction projects.

Work environment: Work in indoor and outdoor environments, exposure to various conditions.
Physical demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, climb ladders, and
perform physically demanding tasks.
Travel required: up to 50% of the time. Traveling outside the state of Nevada is required.
Required education and experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 5+ years of maintenance experience
- 3+ years of supervisor experience
- Strong working knowledge of general construction, electrical, plumbing, and general contracting.
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in retail or multi-site construction management.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
