Data Center Construction Manager

As a Data Center Construction Manager at Switch, you will lead on-site execution of mission-critical data center construction projects in Las Vegas. This is a fully onsite role. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

You are accountable for schedule, quality, safety, and coordination across trades. This role exists to ensure projects are delivered to Switch standards without delays or rework. You will make day-to-day decisions that directly impact cost, timeline, and operational readiness.

Lead daily on-site construction activities for large-scale data center projects.

Coordinate general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors.

Monitor schedule and sequencing to prevent delays.

Enforce safety standards and site compliance requirements.

Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution.

Identify risks early and implement practical solutions.

Track progress and provide clear status updates to leadership.

Support commissioning and turnover to operations.

You operate with urgency and stay focused on outcomes.

You communicate clearly and share information without leaving out critical details.

You follow established processes and enforce standards consistently.

You address problems directly and bring solutions, not just concerns.

You collaborate across teams while holding contractors accountable.

You are dependable and trusted to run complex job sites.

Required

Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial or mission-critical construction projects.

Direct experience overseeing multiple trades on active job sites.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Working knowledge of construction safety standards and compliance practices.

Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and vendor performance.

Preferred

Experience with data center construction.

Experience in high-availability or critical infrastructure environments.
