Position: Construction Superintendent - Education / Municipal Projects
Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction Education and Municipal ground up projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing those types of projects, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to motivate and lead a team. This company does ground up projects ranging from $2M-$40M.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the construction project from pre-construction through project completion
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of the project
• Manage project budget and ensure cost control measures are in place
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project timelines are met
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
• Regularly communicate with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent with Education/Municipal projects
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software
