Coordinator, Purchasing - P-Card

Responsibilities- Coordinate the college's Procurement Card (P-Card) program and report to the Executive Director, Procurement and Auxiliary Services.
- Assist in developing P-Card policies and procedures and ensure policies are updated when necessary.
- Administer the P-Card program on a daily basis and collaborate with the Executive Director to gain approval for program changes and policy exceptions.
- Note:
This position is not expected to supervise employees.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years related professional experience.
- Professional CPCP certification.
- Procurement, accounts payable/receivable, and related experiences (e.g., administering solicitations, issuing purchase orders, contract administration and review, reconciling ledger accounts, monitoring expenses, reporting).
- Higher education experience.
- Familiarity with procurement card programs and MCCs.
- ERP system experience (e.g., People Soft, Banner, Workday).
- Understanding of P-Card program function and process; contract review and online terms/conditions review.
- Knowledge of public procurement concepts; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership, collaboration, and ability to build consensus with college departments and leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication; excellent writing skills; comfortable training others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; data extraction, organization, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday) and e-procurement systems; data integrity management.
- Ability to work with a diverse group and to interact with suppliers.
Administrative Faculty C - The Starting Salary is $68,063. This position is contingent upon ongoing and available funding.
