Overview

Summary: As a Pool Manager, you are responsible for the overall management of the pool, and poolside food & beverage operations. This leadership role ensures a safe, engaging, and guest-centric environment that supports the company’s standards and drives revenue through excellent service, staffing, and operational execution.

Location: The Strat (Las Vegas, NV)

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, evaluate, and manage department staff to ensure high performance, engagement, and alignment with company standards and service excellence; oversee payroll administrative duties to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives by translating organizational goals into actionable plans, ensuring team alignment, accountability, and timely delivery under the guidance of division leadership
  • Establish and uphold service standards within assigned department(s), ensuring consistent delivery that meets or exceeds guest expectations and operational goals
  • Design and implement guest engagement initiatives (e.g., themed pool events, or VIP cabana packages) to enhance the guest experience and drive repeat visitation
  • Oversee cabana rental operations, maximizing occupancy, enhancing guest experience, and optimizing revenue generation
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments; maintain proper documentation of incidents, injuries, and near misses to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize liability
  • Proactively resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathy, leveraging service recovery opportunities to strengthen brand loyalty and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety, health, and sanitation standards to maintain a secure and compliant environment for guests and team members
  • Foster a positive team culture that aligns with company values and guest service standards; actively mentor leads and high-potential staff for growth and retention
  • Oversee procurement and inventory of all supplies and equipment for pool and poolside food & beverage operations, ensuring availability, cost control, and alignment with operational needs
  • Use data from POS, guest feedback platforms, and labor management systems to make data-driven decisions for optimizing operations
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve comprehensive policy and procedure manuals for pool and operations to ensure consistency, safety, and service excellence
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a pool environment, with demonstrated expertise in pool operations management; prior experience in F&B Management preferred
  • Strong knowledge and proven ability in managing staff, budgeting, training, scheduling, and ensuring pool safety compliance
  • Proficient in preparing routine reports, correspondence, and operational documentation
  • Skilled in using computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and POS systems; experience with Info genesis preferred
  • Exceptional guest service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively in both one-on-one and group settings
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying challenges and driving resolution
Requirements
  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
