**** THE JOB:

As a Strategic Sourcing Associate, you will support the sourcing programs, analytics, and supplier coordination that help drive efficiency, value, and innovation across multiple categories. In this role, you’ll support end-to-end sourcing activities—conducting financial analysis, helping manage RFPs, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to sourcing plans that align with enterprise strategies.

This position is ideal for someone early in their sourcing or procurement career who is ready to develop their analytical skills, strengthen supplier management capabilities, and support high-impact sourcing initiatives across the organization.
** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Assist in leading strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned spend categories.
* Conduct financial, spend, and trend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Support market research and supplier analysis to uncover sourcing opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather business requirements and clarify needs.
* Assist in developing sourcing plans aligned with category strategies and enterprise goals.
* Participate in cross-functional teams to support implementation, tracking, and compliance.
* Help develop, issue, and analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other bid processes.
* Support contract negotiation and execution in partnership with Legal.
* Assist with project rollout plans to ensure successful implementation and adherence.
* Monitor supplier performance and prepare reports on trends, compliance, and program health.
* Support diverse supplier identification and sustainability-aligned sourcing.
* Assist in problem-solving sourcing and supplier-related issues.
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** 2+ years of prior relevant experience in procurement or sourcing.
* Experience supporting bid processes (RFI, RFP, or informal bids) preferred.
* Familiarity with procurement or sourcing software tools preferred.
* Professional certifications such as CPM or CPSM are a plus.
* Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
* Ability to travel off-site as needed for supplier meetings or events.
