The Role
At eBay, we’re shaping the future of work by creating spaces where people can connect, innovate, and thrive! We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Global Real Estate Transactions to lead critical transactions and development across our global portfolio. In this role, you’ll lead and execute real estate transactions end-to-end—from negotiating leases to managing renewals, acquisitions, and dispositions. You’ll partner directly with business leaders, be responsible for external vendors, and work closely with Design and Construction to deliver spaces that support both our people and our business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who brings expertise, independence, and an ownership mindset. This role offers global scope, high visibility, and the chance to deliver real impact. - Negotiate leases and drive key transactions, including renewals, expansions, and exits.
- Manage brokers and external vendors, ensuring strong performance.
- Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, understanding and delivering on their needs.
- Collaborate with Design, Construction, Finance, and Legal to deliver projects that meet business goals.
- Analyze deals, financial models, and lease terms to support informed decisions.
- Nurture Landlord relationships alongside Lease Administration
- Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to leadership.
- Minimum 5–7 years of corporate real estate transactions or development experience.
- Strong knowledge of lease structures, negotiation, and legal language.
- Proven ability to manage vendors and execute transactions independently.
- Ability to translate global organizational strategy into transactions strategy.
- Solid financial and analytical skills, including real estate accounting and modeling.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to influence across teams.
The applicable base pay range for this position is dependent on work location. The base pay range in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro and Seattle Metro is expected in the range below: $154,000 - $205,600
The base pay range for all other U.S. work locations is expected in the range below: $118,000 - $189,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
