Automotive Technician Compensation and Benefits

• Pay— $20 - $40hourly rate based on the Technician Level (A, B,
  
  C) assigned by years of experience and ASE Certifications.

Automotive Technician Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• ASE Certified is preferred but not required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Able to pass adrug test and background check

Experience – Experience diagnosing and reconditioning preowned cars at a dealership

Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Examines vehicle, diagnoses, and, if needed discusses with management the nature and extent of damage or malfunction
• Communicates additional service requests to the Advisor for communication with the client.
• Maintains strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Completes story/notes and/or documentation for a repair order.
