Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Business Administration
Otis Elevator Company is searching for an Office Coordinator to perform a wide range of administrative functions requiring problem solving skills under minimal direction. The successful candidate will support branch sales and operations staff, manage payroll, handle vendor tasks, and maintain sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities- Answer phones and assist internal and external customers
- File and organize departmental documents, and overall office management
- Log and mail checks
- Provide administrative support to branch sales and operations staff
- Support the branch with payroll management
- Process accounts payable invoices and maintain control over draft check requests
- Set up large purchase orders and process payments for office vendors (e.g., janitorial services, uniforms, garbage removal, shredding services)
- Maintain control over and process draft check requests
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Order office supplies and kitchen food supplies
- Minimum of 4+ years of office administrative support experience
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), and aptitude to learn company‑specific software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, detail‑oriented, and organized
- Demonstrated proficiency in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and multi‑tasking
- Ability to manage workflow efficiently, be self‑reliant, show initiative, exercise good judgment, and be a team player while handling sensitive and confidential information
- Customer focused with the ability to interact with customers professionally
- High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
The salary range for this role is $70,000-$75,000.
