Filing Clerk/Records Retention

The Filing Clerk/Records Retention position is an entry level position within the company and will involve all tasks necessary for the perfection of new vehicle loans including:
- Filing, scanning, and validating vehicle titles.
- Calling lenders to follow up on the status of titles for paid‑off vehicles.
- Reviewing outstanding title reports to ensure liens are perfected in a timely manner.
- Managing files and records.
- Updating and noting accounts as title‑related documents are received.
- Corresponding with other departments regarding title releases.
The position will also review DMV documents for accuracy and completeness and interact with other departments as a service provider. The successful candidate must be self‑directed in work prioritization and will demonstrate good judgment within the scope of the position’s responsibilities. The associate will perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable state and federal regulations.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines.
- Versatility in job functionality and quick to assimilate procedural changes.
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, managing files and records, mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and percentages), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail; ability to read and comprehend instructions and information; professional communication on the phone; use of standard office equipment.
- Web navigation and/or web‑based applications.
- Personal computer:
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. - 10‑key calculator and keyboard skills.
- Copier, faxing, and other general office supplies.
- $16 to $18.50 per hour with a potential bonus opportunity of $600 per month, depending on performance.
- Exact compensation will be determined at the time of hiring and will depend on factors such as location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
