Job Description
This position conducts moderate to complex analytical tasks to assist the electric operating districts plan work to meet operational and financial objectives. Translates business processes into clear, concise documents appropriate for various roles. Documents may include but are not limited to process diagrams, roles and responsibility matrices, presentations and procedures. Compiles, organizes, and summarizes data from multiple sources; monitors/tracks processes to ensure their execution within defined parameters.
Supports safe, efficient and effective utilization of company resources.
- Provides technical writing and content management support for work planning related policies, procedures, manuals, white papers, presentations and other documentation as required.
- This includes editing, layout and publishing support to ensure high quality of material produced.
- Creates spreadsheets that compile large sets of data for evaluation and presentation Participates in meetings or interviews subject matter experts to obtain technical understanding and clarification of documentation requirements.
- Coordinates requests for documentation and evidence.
- Participates in the development of methods to measure work performance in each operating district.
- Coordinates with electric operating districts to ensure Operations, Maintenances, and Administrative General (OMAG) and Capital and Expenditures (CAPEX) for distribution and transmission work is efficiently scheduled and completed.
- Coordinates and participates in process improvement initiatives.
- Understands and documents changes to electric operations business processes and systems to improve efficiencies, accuracy, and customer service.
- Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and performs related duties as assigned.
