Who are we? Since 2015, Nevada Behavioral Health Systems (NBH) has been providing mental health and substance abuse services to residents across Nevada. By collaborating with a diverse network of experienced behavioral healthcare providers, we have built a community‑based care system that offers members personalized options tailored to their individual needs. In 2023, we rebranded as Novum Health with the expansion of our services in Arizona, California, and Utah.

Position: Receptionist
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada – Onsite (This role is not eligible for Remote or Hybrid)
Starting Salary Range: $18 per hour

The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity.

What’s the role?

As a Receptionist at Novum Health, your primary purpose is to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, and play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Your professionalism, communication skills, and organizational abilities will contribute to a seamless and efficient reception experience.

What you’ll do:
  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff with friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide accurate information or route calls to the appropriate individuals.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well‑maintained.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for meetings, conferences, and other events.
  • Coordinate and schedule meeting rooms, ensuring they are properly set up and equipped.
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries, distributing them to the appropriate recipients.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of visitor logs, staff attendance, and other relevant information.
  • Respond to inquiries or requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure a coordinated and efficient workflow.
  • Additional Duties as assigned.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor, with the ability to handle difficult or stressful situations calmly and tactfully.
  • Proficiency in operating telephone systems, computer applications, and office equipment.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate handling of messages, appointments, and records.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills to address issues or inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle unexpected situations or changes in responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
What you’ll need to start:
  • At least 1 year of customer service or administrative role is preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must pass drug screening and background check in order to start employment with Novum Health.
What will make you stand out:
  • Previous experience in a customer service position.
  • Previous medical office experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish).
