The Client Operations Team Member is crucial to the success of the company. With positions ranging from Intake to Order Processing, we believe each employee should have the opportunity to grow and advance in their career.

Responsibilities
  • Creates and maintains patient files with accuracy and efficiency according to departmental procedures and guidelines within deadlines.
  • Reaches the minimum upload standards of 135 per day within 30 days and maintains that standard each day.
  • Reviews discrepancies in data received and assigns them to the appropriate department.
  • Verifies patient name, address, and primary insurance is correct in the patient file to prevent documentation, billing, or shipping errors.
  • Ensures additional documentation items received are uploaded, labeled, and moved to the correct designated location.
  • Proficiently navigates current operations software to find and retrieve patient information.
  • Uses Microsoft Outlook and related applications to serve customers with high‑level client care.
  • Gains knowledge of wound care products provided to patients and informational resources available (categories, properties, coverage, and monthly allowable).
  • Becomes knowledgeable of all types of required documentation indicating medical necessity.
  • Evaluates patient files for issues or errors and verifies the order is a Service Request or Standard Written Order.
  • Resources information as it pertains to the employee’s experience.
  • Knowledge of Prism’s scope of service and the geographic areas operated in.
  • Effectively processes all verified patient orders to ensure industry‑leading delivery times.
  • Accurately ships a minimum daily quota of up to 40 orders.
  • Provides routine order status notifications to referring facilities.
  • Answers the phone quickly with professional and courteous manners and directs calls to appropriate parties, if necessary.
  • Delivers solution‑based service to all patients and clinicians.
