Staff Accountant

Position Title: Staff Accountant

This role is vital for maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for various accounting functions, including bank reconciliations and applying payments to jobs. The position requires a diligent individual who can manage collections and intercompany transactions efficiently. Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations and apply payments to jobs
• Follow up on collections and maintain organization in tasks
• Handle intercompany transactions and send 30-40 invoices monthly
• Match AIA billing and assist with costing of various projects
• Support month-end close processes, including journal entries
• Collaborate with other teams, including sales, to ensure smooth operations

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Bachelor's degree in accounting is highly preferred
• Experience in a smaller company is preferred
• 1-2 years in public accounting with a desire to transition is preferred
• Familiarity with AIA billing and construction accounting concepts is preferred
• SQL training or coding experience is preferred
