Staff Accountant

Reconcile monthly general ledger activity in a timely manner. Identify and resolve outstanding items to ensure company is kept whole. Assist with month-end close procedures and compliance with GAAP. Perform weekly Accounts Payable invoice processing.

Assist Manager with special projects as needed.

• Prepares account reconciliations and roll forwards for various entities, investigates any reconciling items, and proposes any changes necessary
• Accounts Payable invoice processing and payment management
• Assists with fulfilling audit requests in a timely manner
• Assists with various ad-hoc projects

Solid understanding of accounting theory; 1-3 years of experience in an Accounting position demonstrating advancement; excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Hyperion and Accpac experience

• Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
