Senior Accountant

Overview

Executive Search Placement is partnering with an innovative Las Vegas company that is in search of a Senior Accountant to join and support their Finance Team.

Compensation: $85-90K, plus excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, 401K/+ Company Match, plus life, short & long term disability and additional voluntary options.

• Own monthly close activities
  , including journal entries
  , general ledger
  and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure accurate, timely internal financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor invoicing, payments, and customer collections
• Maintain cash, bank deposits
  , and related reconciliations
• Manage fixed asset accounting and support inventory-related activities as needed
• Partner with accounting leadership to investigate and resolve variances
• Support audits, 1099 reporting
  , and maintains organized financial documentation
• Contribute financial insight to cross-functional teams and support ad hoc projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or other relevant certifications preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Must have experience with GL accounting, AR/AP, and cash reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Net Suite or similar ERP systems
• Experience with fixed assets and/or inventory accounting preferred but not mandatory
