Tax Manager

A well-established public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its growing team. This role offers a strong compensation package, long-term career growth, and a collaborative firm culture.

• Salary range: $100,000–$130,000 (DOE)

• Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and/or trusts
• Provide tax planning, research, and consulting services to clients
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong advisory relationships
• Supervise, mentor, and develop senior and staff accountants
• Review work papers and returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Stay current on tax law changes and advise clients accordingly
• Assist with workflow management, deadlines, and process improvements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Prior experience reviewing returns and managing engagements
• Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
• Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor junior staff
