About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Tax Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you'll lead tax engagements, serve as a trusted advisor to clients, and mentor junior team members - all within a supportive, people-first environment. If you have good tax knowledge and a passion for helping clients navigate complex issues, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in public accounting.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, trust, nonprofit)
- Conduct research and provide practical solutions on complex tax matters
- Deliver proactive tax planning and strategy for a variety of clients
- Supervise, train, and support junior staff and interns
- Communicate with clients directly and maintain long-term relationships
- Ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and firm quality standards
- Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's in Taxation a plus)
- 3-5+ years of public accounting experience focused on tax
- Solid knowledge of tax law and compliance for individuals and entities
- Experience with tax software (Lacerte is what we use) and Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
