Responsibilities- Conduct and manage accounting method reviews and assessments by designing and implementing projects related to revenue and expense recognition, capitalized items, fixed assets, and inventories.
- Assist with cost segregation studies and tax depreciation analysis.
- Research technical issues, prepare reports, and propose viable solutions.
- Support the preparation, review, and filing of Form 3115 – Application for Change in Accounting Method.
- Provide quality assurance, engagement review, and exam support.
- Contribute to new business development, including add‑on opportunities, while sustaining excellent client service through networking within the firm and building relationships outside of it.
- Minimum of five years recent tax experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation environment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
- Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or any other designation on KPMG’s approved credential list; if not holding a designating credential at hire, must obtain one within one year.
- Experience performing tax research, reading case law, and familiarity with the Internal Revenue Code and related regulations; experience managing multiple client engagements and service teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint) and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel and work at client locations.
$98,600 – $186,600
