FNF is hiring a Water Truck Driver in Las Cruces, NM. The role involves hauling water in tanker trucks that hold up to 5,000 gallons, performing dust control on construction job sites, and assisting heavy equipment operators during excavation and earthwork. The driver will operate the auxiliary pump and fire hose on the truck to create backfill material and wash down heavy equipment as needed.
Responsibilities- Basic understanding of mass excavation methods, soil testing, and safe operation of water trucks off‑road and on‑road.
- Pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
- Maintain clean CDL license record.
- Maintain current medical card.
- Hold a current and active CDL driver’s license.
- 2+ years of experience safely operating a commercial vehicle with a minimum tank capacity of 2,000 gallons.
- Current Class A or Class B commercial driver license with tank endorsement.
- Acceptable five‑year driving history and PSP report.
All construction field positions within the company are considered safety sensitive. Candidates must pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and may expose the employee to high levels of noise, dust, and the use of heavy equipment. The role requires safe climbing on and off equipment, frequent walking on uneven surfaces, and continuous awareness of mobile and stationary equipment operations.
Work will often be performed in close proximity to the traveling public. This is a safety‑sensitive position.
