Executive Sous Chef

Job Summary

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team and support our Executive Chef in delivering high-quality meals, leading kitchen operations, and creating a positive team environment. If you are organized, motivated, and passionate about food, we’d love to meet you.

• Partner with the Executive Chef to manage daily food service operations.
• Ensure meals are prepared on time and up to quality standards.
• Monitor inventory and place orders as needed.
• Support, train, and mentor kitchen staff.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols.
• Step in and oversee kitchen operations when the Executive Chef is away.

This position follows a rotational hitch schedule: 5 weeks on, 10 days off. Flexibility to work this schedule is required.

• Strong culinary knowledge, including food preparation and safety standards.
• Leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to manage operations with minimal supervision.
• Safe Serve certification required.
• Experience with Rational equipment and basic computer skills are a plus.

• Ability to stand for long periods and work in hot or cold environments (kitchen and freezer conditions).
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment.

$50,000 - $65,000 Annual
