Responsible to insure safe execution of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance. Candidate must have maintenance mechanic/technician experience in a manufacturing and/or food processing plant.

• 2 years previous maintenance experience
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Basic math knowledge
• Ability to work independently and multitask
• Reading and understanding of MSDS
• Teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work in a changing environment
• Ability to handle high levels of stress to keep the plant and field equipment running

• Lay out equipment and build to specifications
• Ability to perform standard mechanical functions, including changing oil, bearings, etc. on all types of equipment
• Perform department sanitation duties
• Paperwork necessary for department

• Flexible for all shifts; understand and follow instructions
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing and/or food and beverage industry experience a requirement
• Electrical experience (AC/DC; 480v; 240V; 120V (required))
• PLC programming (Allen Bradley) experience a plus
• PLC troubleshooting experience (required)
• Ability to weld and use welding equipment safely (required)
• Ability to cut with a torch (required)
• Familiar with OSHA safety regulations (required)
• Experience with a plasma cutter (required)
• Experience with power tools (required)
• Some pipe fitting experience (required)
• Lubrication
• Visual inspections
• 2 years maintenance experience
• Bilingual (conversational)
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics
• Any special task as required by supervisor
• Able to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day
• General electrical, gas control and basic mechanical experience needed
• Must be able to pass the standard Forklift Driver written & driving exams
