Position: Operations Manager (Facilities, IT, Risk & Compliance)

Position Summary

Amador Health Center is seeking a working Operations Manager to provide day‑to‑day operational oversight of facilities, IT vendor management, emergency preparedness, and operational risk and compliance. The primary duty of this role is operational management and execution of systems that support safe, compliant, uninterrupted care delivery. This role supervises facilities support functions, manages operational vendors, drafts operational procedures for leadership review, and ensures follow‑through on inspections, corrective actions, and continuity planning.

Major Activities and Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary operational lead for facilities systems, vendor relationships, and service delivery coordination.
  • Supervise facilities support staff and coordinate services including HVAC, fire systems, waste management, and security.
  • Manage performance and coordination with the IT support contractor; oversee user access and device lifecycle coordination.
  • Maintain operational compliance calendars and documentation (e.g., HIPAA operations, OSHA basics, inspections).
  • Track incidents, near‑misses, and corrective actions to closure.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness drills, tabletop exercises, and after‑action follow‑ups.
  • Maintain inventory and basic operational controls for accounts, devices, and licenses.
  • Support business continuity planning and downtime procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Five or more years of experience in operations, facilities, IT coordination, or compliance in a regulated environment.
  • Experience supervising support staff and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, documentation ability, and independent judgment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in community health, FQHC, behavioral health, pharmacy, or similar settings.
  • Familiarity with emergency preparedness and audit/inspection coordination.
  • Basic understanding of IT support models and operational risk management.
Education/Certification

Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Other Requirements

State‑issued driver’s license, background check, pre‑employment drug test.
