Position: User Support Technician (91-00)

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, La Clinica has provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Job Summary

The User Support Technician responds to immediate user support needs in regard to hardware and software installation and trouble-shooting, basic operating system and applications training, and network systems administration. The User Support Technician must have good verbal and written communication skills to interact directly with users and vendors, and to maintain logs, inventories and other records to insure the smooth functioning of the organization on a day-to-day basis.

  • Exceptional troubleshooting ability required to solve non-routine, complex problems as they arise.
  • Experience with Microsoft products Office 365, Windows 10, 11.
  • Computer hardware and software skills are required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware and software.
  • Critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain relevant skill sets and adapt to the ever-changing field of technology.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skill.
  • Ability to be well-organized.
  • Ability to use analytical skills effectively.
  • Bilingual / Spanish desirable.
Job Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science of Related Field and one year related experience.
  • Must have advanced understanding of IBM computers. DOS, Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel. Unix/Linux knowledge a plus.
