OverviewNon-Exempt
Responsibilities- Performs daily posting of electronic, credit card, and check insurance payments through EOB guidance.
- Reviews Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) report daily and posts all insurance payments.
- Collects check log payment information daily and posts all patient and insurance payments.
- Balances at end of day and submits daily report.
- Requires ability to interpret insurance EOBs.
- Must have math and data entry skills.
- Must have high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Must have knowledge obtaining insurance EOBs through insurance portals.
- High school diploma or equivalent and two years' experience in similar position (preferred).
- Previous experience in a medical setting (preferred).
